This class will discuss construction to permanent financing. It will explain and contrast one-time close construction loans. It will also provide an analysis of construction oversite, builder, project approval, and construction draws.

John has been engaged in the construction and residential lending industry for the past 29 years in the
Treasure Valley. He has been instrumental in developing and implementing construction products and
financing options for banks and other lenders, along with the ability to understand the oversite, training,
and management of these products. His strengths lie in his knowledge and understanding of the entire
construction lending management process from the beginning to the end. Having an extensive
background in One Time Close (OTC), 2 step construction lending, 203K and conforming renovation
products. Some of the specialty products that he also manages is lot loans, Gap, and Bridge loans.

Currently, he is the Construction Lending Manger for Premier Mortgage Resources (PMR) in Meridian,
Idaho which operates in 40 different States. He is in charge of the development of the company’s One
Time Close( OTC) program along with the training, guidelines, and oversite. He manages all aspects of
the construction process along with builder/contractor approval, the oversite of project approval and
the draw, inspection and lien waiver portion of the construction loan. Prior to PMR he spent five years
at Icon Credit Union, and seven years as a District Sales Manager for both Bank of the Cascades and US
Bank Home Mortgage, where he was a very successful mortgage originator and sales manager. He has
also written several articles for the Treasure Valley Real Estate Agent Magazine which includes topics
about Simplified Mortgage Disclosures and Millennial Homebuyers.

John holds a Bachelor of Science degree in human resource management from Boise State University.

John has been married for 29 years and has a son that is 25 and daughter that is 22 years old. He enjoys
time spent in Donnelly Idaho where hiking, biking, and skiing are a few of his passions.
